Initial submission (selection stage)

Authors are invited to submit unpublished work in a maximum of 10 A4 size pages including figures, appendices and references. The submissions will undergo double-blind reviews: authors must not indicate their names or affiliations anywhere in the text, and if possible, in the references. The submissions should represent original contributions and should not have been submitted to other forums, printed journals or conferences. Reusing material from published work, even if the authors' own is tantamount to plagiarism and is strongly discouraged.

Note: All submissions should be in PDF, with a max. 5MB size. Papers must be uploaded to the specified website, as mentioned in the curent year's VDAT webpages, and should not sent be by mail.

Please ensure that you have mentioned all the authors at the time of submission. You may not add or delete authors later. It is imperative that one of the authors will register and present the paper if the paper gets accepted.

Final submission (for accepted papers)

Authors of accepted papers will be notified individually, and the list will also be put up under the year's VDAT webpages. Please follow the below notes to prepare final submission, to be compliant with hardcopy publication formatting.

Authors of accepted papers will be required to submit full papers, and Presentation Foils of their talks in PowerPoint or PDF format. Final submissions (full papers or presentations) will be made available as Proceedings.

Page limit (including text, figures, tables, references and bibliography) for hardcopy:
Full papers/ Embedded tutorials: 10 pages
Short Papers: 8 pages
Poster Papers: 1 page with Title, author names, abstract and keywords.

Please follow the guidelines to format Paper size, Margin, Font and Font sizes to ensure the paper is within the limit.
Rs.1000/= per each extra page would be charged when it exceeds.
Since the printed size differs from the softcopy, these guidelines enable compatibility with the publisher's output.
Papers must be formatted using MS Word format. We are sorry, we cannot accept PDF, PS, or other formats.

You may download (Right-click to Save Target As...)
The DOC template file to work on straight away, and this help file in PDF through the links on the left.

Note: For the softcopy of proceedings, full papers of Poster category are to be submitted. 1 page restriction applies to only hardcopy. Regular and short papers may also be submitted without page restrictions to allow large images, tables and other details if needed.
